Dear Daisy...

Hi Daisy,

I really love all the girly clothes that are starting to come into the shops, but how do I wear this trend without looking like a little girl?

Thanks! x

Hollie, Surrey

Daisy Says:

Hi Holly,

‘UltraGirlie’ is a huge trend for SS12 after the likes of Louis Vuitton, Dior and Erdem all featured lovely pretty dresses in their collections last season!

The key to working this trend as a grown up is to be fearless with our choices and don’t be afraid to wear more than one fabric at once. Chiffon and lace? why not, sequins with silk? absolutely!

This is all about having fun and re-exploring your youth in a grown up way- LV showed their models with cute oversized peter pan collars and tiaras in their hair- the epitome of girly goodness and one of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week.

Think candy colours, ethereal styling with a bit of playfulness thrown in and you will be fine. May we suggest cute as button dresses, oversized cover ups and plenty of sequins as a good place to start?!

Love Daisy xxx
