2010 Festival Fever!

Our swan song of V has just come rollicking to an end. Snif. Sooooo rather than cry over spilt warm cider we thought it only right and just that we pay homage to the amarzin’ festival outfits of 2010!......

Welcome to The First Official Daisy Summer Festival Fashion Awards (TM)! Glasto, T in the Park and V have all been and gone and the days spent swaying to music in the sun, gently tanning while having a few drinks till we're on the tad merry while of course looking tres hippy chic are over for yet another year (or rather rolling around in mud, constantly falling over, eating far too much fried chicken and drinking warm cider) Either way festivals equal fashion in our book. So what better way to wrap up the summer than looking back at all the fashion hits...and misses...of Festival Fever 2010!

Best footwear goes to Kristin off The Hills (looking fahbulous at Coachella earlier this year) in gorgeous glads (and she made up with Lauren in the end so we like her a bit more now)

Best use of hot pants goes to Florence Welch (her off of and the Machine) We totally heart her kooky style – she always looks amazing and she rocked these gold hotpants. Stand back Kylie your metallic short shorts crown now well and truly belongs to Flo.

Most number of outfit changes: Katy Pery rocked several looks at Coachella but our personal fave has to be her ethereal boho princess look complete with the MOST.AMAZING.METALLIC.GLADS.LIKE.EVER (official)

Lastly most mental stage outfit. Ever. There was only ever one lady in the running....Beth Ditto! She kicked literal ass on stage in this amazing purple vintage look dress and matching purple tight at Wireless avec a totally insane cone top that would put Madge to shame!

Another year done and dusted.....now to hibernate for 9 months until we can justifiably drag out the floral headband again.....(exactly like bears do)
