We Heart Drew
25 August 2010

A lister Drew Barrymore descended on V Festival last weekend and quite frankly showed us exactly how festival style should be done! Drew was sporting khaki trousers, a cropped tassle top with more than a yee haw nod to the Western trend, brown leather boots and an amarzin’ vintage look hat, topped it all off with a slash of coral lippy and tousled beach hair. Drew was seen hanging out in the Virgin V Louder Lounge avec boyfriend Justin Long having a good ol’ chin wag with none other than The Chung about the best festival fashion tips! Us jealous? Nooooooooo!
Not only did Drew look really rather amarzing but she was streets ahead of the rest showcasing the Next.Big.Thing for this AW. Drum roll please...............Brown! Yup you heard it right, we’re going Back to Brown (note not Bobbi Brown) You can forget your boring old blacks and blah greys there’s going to be a brown explosion over the coming months (sounds so deeply, deeply wrong....)
Banish all thoughts of Brownie uniforms, from caramel hues, deep walnuts and luscious conkers to sophisticated soft beiges you can be sure to hit the fashion nail on the head if you step out in a shade of brown this autumn. Luckily for us the high street is full of it! Check out our top brown picks below!
